Treasure of golden coins disseminated next to one another was uncovered upon excavations in the 7th excavation site, called provisionally at 08:30am on 22 June, 2012. The site being cleansed from the rabbleness accurately under the scientific staff’s control and taken photos, the coins were drawn up a report on-site by the expedition board and taken.  

The opening of “Agsu Wonder” exhibition took place in Bayburt City Culture Center on 12 July 2012 jointly by MIRAS Social Organization and BEKDER Bayburt Science, Education and Culture Association. The guests of the exhibition 

Well-known artist Yusif Mirza opening the event congratulated the youth artists and talked about the activity of MIRAS Organization over the display and promotion of their talent. Chairman of MIRAS Organization, PhD Fariz Khalilli said in his speech that, the exhibition aims at demonstrating appearances of “Molla Nasiraddin” heritage nowadays. The artists tried to indicate the synthesis of novelty, enlightenment and modernism through satire and humour in their work. 

Project coordinator, deputy chairman of MIRAS Organization, Arzu Soltan spoke on “public attitude on cultural heritage: monitoring results” and talked about the work done within the project. Particularly, she shared information among the participants on the results of the monitoring conducted in medieval Ganja city. Especially, it was underscored that medieval Ganja City remained aside from the community’s attention. 

 As it is known, in order to introduce history and preserved cultural values of Azerbaijani regions, monuments’ richness and cultural heritage, the Organization started cultural heritage tour of representatives of diplomatic missions functioned in our country since 2013 May to Agsu City and Agsu archaeological tourism complex. Within the tour the ambassadors familiarize with Diri Baba Tomb in Gobustan, History and Local Lore Museum in Shamakhi, medieval Agsu town archaeological tourism complex in Agsu, as well as cuisine

 Final event and reward ceremony of the 1st cultural heritage Olympiad amongst the youth co-organized by MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage and Central Scientific Library of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA) took place in the latter’s building

 

To note, scientific committee of the Olympiad chose 45 people for the second stage amongst students and youth applied. 17 of the best answered youth to 30 questions, prepared by the experts at the second stage participated at the last stage.
