Director of NASA Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Maisa Rahimova said at the briefing that the treasure uncovered from Agsu town proves Azerbaijan’s being the most ancient settlement and civilization center. According to her, Agsu explorations are ongoing and there is a hope that new unique finds, playing important role in study of our history will be revealed as well 

To note, YOCOCU was created with the purpose to realize a network among young professionals and researchers, working in different fields of cultural heritage. Young students, researchers and professionals, all animated by common goals, meet to tell their own stories, to give their inputs to research and cultural growth in the different fields of Cultural Heritage: chemistry, physics, biology, restoration, archaeology, architecture.The conference reports are published in YOCOCU Magazine which is recognized on international level and reliable.

According to the project, the members of MIRAS Social Organization participate voluntarily at reading books for eye disabled people.

On 17 April 2012 a republican conference on “Brick Architecture in our Historical Cities” devoted to “18 April, International Day for Monuments and Sites” organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, Agsu region Executive Power and MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage, was held in Agsu City.  

Chairman of MIRAS Organization, PhD Fariz Khalilli speaking at the seminar shared information on the activity and publications of the MIRAS. Later on Dr. Fariz Khalilli made a report on “Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage”. During the seminar the attendees were given broad information on cultural heritage of Azerbaijan from the ancient time to present day.  

 Member of Parliament of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, MP Ejder Aslan Baba, who also participated at the conference, said youth are responsible for substantial deliver of Khojaly genocide to the notice of the word community.

Intercult Organization in Sweden organised the CORNERS Caucasus Xpedition from 27 September to 13 October 2011. 28 artists, researchers and cultural producers, from 9 European countries, travelled by bus from Hopa (Turkey), through Georgia and Azerbaijan, to meet people in the region and find stories and inspiration for new artistic work.
