The Symposium Committee announces abstract acceptance for the IV International Shusha Symposium on Historical Places and Monuments. The symposium will be held on November 22, 2022, in the city of Shusha.

Symposium topics:

Shusha as a World Heritage;

Historical places and cultural heritage monuments of Shusha; 

The damage caused to the cultural heritage of Shusha during the occupation period;

The cultural heritage of Shusha during the post-war period;

Archaeological research of Shusha and its surroundings; 

Material culture of Shusha: relations and comparisons; 

Cultural heritage and environment of Shusha;

Protection problems of monuments in Shusha;

Socialization of the cultural heritage of Shusha;

The Rural Lifestyles of Shusha.

Symposium conditions:

The symposium will be held face-to-face and online in the city of Shusha. It is planned to prepare the reports in one of the following languages: Azerbaijani, Turkish, English, or Russian. The Symposium committee is open for those who want to send abstracts as of October 1st. Abstarcts should not exceed 300 words. Abstracts should be sent to miraspresscenter@gmail.com.
