3D Medieval Agsu Town Presentation in Macedonia by MIRAS

On 17-19 January, 2014 II International Conference of Cultural Heritage, Media and Tourism was co-organized by Institute for Socio-Cultural Anthropology of Macedonia and ESRA in Ohrid City of Macedonia.
The opening of the conference was held by PhD of Institute for Socio-Cultural Anthropology of Macedonia , Dr. Rubin Zemon at House of Uranija. Angel Janev, deputy mayor of the city of Ohrid and member of the City Council made a speech. Dr. Jasminka Simic, member of Radio and Television of Serbia expressed gratitude to the organizers on behalf of the participants. The book “ Materials of I International Conference of Cultural Heritage, Media and Tourism” was presented during the event. The article of Azerbaijani authors was also published in the book.
The scholars from Azerbaijan, Italy, Belgium, Albania, Turkey, Belarus, Romania and France along with Macedonia attended the conference. Azerbaijan was represented by the members of MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage (Dr. Fariz Khalilli, Teymur Najafzade, Shola Bayramova and Irada Gadirova) with interesting reports.
The sessions continued in Belvedere Hotel in Ohrid City. Chairman of MIRAS Social Organization, Dr. Fariz Khalilli and director of IMAGE Company and art critic Teymur Najafzade presented a short film “3 D presentation of Medieval Agsu Town: animation, modeling”. 3D solutions, texture and visualized models were shown professionally.
The sessions followed with the reports on topics “ethnographic archives as sources for social history”, “safeguarding of the intangible cultural heirtage”, “a discourse analysis of the Oficial Tourism Websites in the Balkan region”, as well as media, culture, educational issues.
At the last session Shola Bayramova, the head of International Relations and Information Department of MIRAS Social Organization made presentation of Youth in Conservation of Cultural Heritage- YOCOCU 2014 (Agsu/Azerbaijan), II International Hamza Nigari Symposium (Gazakh/Azerbaijan) and VIII. International Symposium of Turkic Culture, Art and Protection of Cultural Heritage/Art Activity (Konya/Turkey).
The participants distinguished at the conference were presented books of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Macedonia and certificates were granted.
