The chairman of MIRAS Organization, Fariz Khalilli opened the event. The memory of Khojaly genocide was commemorated with one-minute silence. Fariz Khalilli gave information about “Khojaly time” and ‘26fevral.az’ Internet page for the purpose of recognition of Khojaly genocide.  

The director of secondary school No. 51, Latafat Samadova opened the event and shared her impressions on Khojaly and noted importance of such events to spread Khojaly people’s voice in the world. The memory of Khojaly genocide was commemorated with one-minute silence.  

Acquaintance with new members took place; information on previous conferences and new projects by the organization was given; new conferences declared, the work done and provided within 2015 work plan.

Main target of the conference is to strengthen public platform for the purpose of development of cultural heritage and tourism domain and encourage innovative educational methods.

On 16th February, 2015 Seminar “Why Khojaly?” was co-arranged in Samsun City of Turkey by Turkish Society, Azerbaijani Turks Culture, Art and Solidarity Association of Amasia, Balkans-Rumeli Turks Confederation and MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage.

At the exhibition Azerbaijan was allocated certain place. MIRAS Social Organzation in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage, Heritage Travel and CTC Tourism companies presented a number of books, leaflets, brochures, magazins and CDs by Haydar Aliyev Foundation and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan on cultural heritage and tourism potential of Azerbaijan.  

The guests later met with director of Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS), Professor Maisa Rahimova and director of Institute of Architecture and Art, Professor Artegin Salamzade. During the meeting Professor Gino Mirocle Crisci gave information broadly on Calabria University and presented the books.

The book of proceedings of 4th International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology (1-5 October, 2012, Agsu, Azerbaijan) was worked up by Dr. Fariz Khalilli  and published in Science and Education Printing House in January, 2015.

Fariz Khalilli speaking of the importance of the Decree on approval of "Youth Development Strategy of Azerbaijan in 2015-2025s" signed by President Ilham Aliyev dated 26 January 2015 said it is focused on organization and holding of youth forums.

The Forum aims at maintaining collaboration perspectives in the direction of protection and study of cultural heritage, tourism and new fields of tourism by gathering youth among the countries, achieving wide application of exchange of new ideas and successful practices. Young scientists and experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Georgia, Norway, Tajikistan, Italy, Egypt and Spain discuss global, interdisciplinary and national issues, as well as the problems and prospects on cultural heritage and tourism.

The term of the festival will be 2 nights and 3 days. It is possible to take part in cultural programs of various folklore groups within the festival, join exhibition-fair, to follow oturma rite and akhir charshanba bonfires and Agsu tour. Being in touch with villagers, tasting rural food, taking interesting photos of the village, doing folklore studies will be available at the festival. Folklore groups of different countries, cultural facilities and tourism companies wishing to promote and introduce their traditions of spring are invited to join to the festival.
