A conference on the activity of Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic for 2014 year was held on 22 January, 2015. Ali Hasanov, the head of Department on Social Political Issues of the Executive Apparatus, administration of Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and various NGO representatives took part there. 

Later event on commemoration of 20 January tragedy was held in Jupa Municipality where Kojajik village is included (only municipality which main population is Turks).

Centre for Scientific Research and Promotion of Culture “HAEMUS” and MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage. The conference launched with photo-exposition “St. Sofia Church: from Ohrid to Polosk” by Belarus on 17th January, 2015.  

Many researchers and scholars from Macedonia, Albania, Russia, Lithuania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Poland and other countries will participate there. Azerbaijan will be represented by nearly twenty researchers and scientists from various scientific institutions and universities. 

MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage held an event dedicated to its 5 year anniversary of establishment 10th January, 2015. Member of MIRAS Board, Professor and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Gafar Jabiyev opened the event. Underscoring MIRAS acted rather widely than NGO for these 5 years, Professor noted MIRAS work in development of Azerbaijani science, history and archaeology. He said this event is accountable.
 

On 25th, December 2014 conference "Azerbaijan and Turkey: Common Values and History" and exhibition “Common Values in Turkic World” of photograph Mammad Rahimov were held in Mersin University in Mersin city of Turkey by Turkic Community of the University, MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage, Turkic World Union Platform, Bolkar Villages Social Aid and Culture Platform and Mersin-Azerbaijani Culture Association.  

Professor of Technical University of Azerbaijan, director of history chair, professor Shikar Gasimov spoke and thanked to Ahmet Şimşek for such initiatives. Mentioning he is from Lachin, Garabakh Shikar Gasimov brought to notice of youth that he witnessed personally, our cultural heritage monuments are ruined ruthful and looted. He noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey could own our cultural values and learn our history above all.  

During the awarding ceremony Osman Gunduz, president of Azerbaijan Internet Forum (AIF) spoke on behalf of Milli Net Organization Commitee and said 322 web sites are presented to 14 nominations and only 272 of them had an access to the contest. He added that categories ‘Mobile applications’ and ‘Karabakh sites” were also included.  

The first scientific-practical conference on “Innovative methods of teaching in Tourism” was held in Tbilisi Teaching University Gorgasali in Tbilisi city of Georgia on 18th December, 2014.

MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage summarized “Kind project” project on 14th December, 2014 together with Republican Library for Blind at conference hall of World Business Center. PhD Fariz Khalilli, chairman of MIRAS Organization opened the account event, gave information about the story of relations with the Library. He noted collaboration hence the first meeting in 2013 and excursion, and deputy director of the Library, Tofig Balayev’s participation at the events actively as MIRAS Friend.

One of the projects implemented by MIRAS Organization is “Kind reader” started since 2013 and lasted every year. MIRAS tried to help to help different people, little children, schoolchildren, youth, grown-ups for whom it is hard to defeat obstacles for difficult, sometimes objective and more subjective reasons in contributing the researches, work over himself, taken interest to the events in the fields of policy, economy, science, techniques, literature, culture though being blind with the help of voice of MIRAS members and intend to lastingly continue this.
