As an example of transnational cooperation projects referring to many-sided collaborations, MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage was selected as beneficiary of Erasmus+ Programme Capacity-Building projects in the field of Higher Education (E+CBHE) for creation and development of supervision centres funded by European Commission.

 

MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage appealed as NGO of counterpart country for PICASP project-pilot courses in Practice Enterprise to implement the University-Enterprise Cooperation for the development of Caspian Area with the initiative of Degli Studi Gabriele D'annunzio Di Chieti-Pescara and won the contest.

 

Khazar University, University of Tourism and Management of Azerbaijan, as well as higher educational institutions of Russia and Lithuania will benefit from the practice of universities and organizations of Italy, Poland and Lithuania along with MIRAS Social Organization within the framework of the project.

 

The purpose of the project is to increase competences of teachers in small and middle business enterprises on the basis of pilot courses combined theory and practice with the application of MOOCs, open free online courses and to introduce new methodology and training means.

 

As is known, MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage is non-profitable organization which has local and international practice linking professionals and young expert volunteers in the field of study, protection and promotion of cultural heritage. 

 

“MIRAS” Social Organization is registered in 2010 and realized numerous projects. Archaeological tourism was its both local and internationally-known project. The Organization worked up detailed architectural projects along with inclusive tourism studies. “Tarakama Charshanba Folklore Festival” is significant cultural heritage tourism project in folklore tourism. It has taken notable measures in the direction of tourism routes.
