The project won category C and implemented with financial support of Azerbaijan Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is co-arranged by MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage and “V.S. Training Center” Psychological Training Center. So, with creating opportunity for them to gain new vacation it is intended to promote chronicle of our national heritage.
The employee of V.S. Training Center” Toghrul Mukhtarov opened the event and gave short information about the project. Later the project members and guests introduced themselves and talked about their awareness of the trainings.
Gulshan Huseynova, the chief of Cultural Heritage Research Department of MIRAS, the supporter organization of the project spoke about the MIRAS activity in the line of study, protection and promotion of cultural heritage and its being one of basic directions of work with youth. She gave information at the same time about a short advanced workshop & training course on the conservation of antique photographs held on 19-21 November in Cairo city of Egypt in collaboration with Cairo University Faculty of Archaeology, Conservation Department and Catania University, Department of Science Chemistry. Members of MIRAS Social Organization, Zaka Babazada and representative of MIRAS Organization in Georgia, Elnur Aliyev participated at the training. The themes of history of photography, chemical bases of photographic process, photos taken in different negatives, chemical processes occurred in photo negatives and optical basis of the photography were touched. The speaker said the event would last over training experience of the instructor and estimated as positive case Zaka Babazade’s sharing knowledge and skills with other youth as a project manager. Expressing hope for 86 participants’ activeness in the trainings and completion of restoration of unique photos of Azerbaijan with nice, interesting exhibition Gulshan Huseynova wished success to the participants.
The project manager Zaka Babazada said the project consists of 4 stages, the first stage-selection finished and the further stages will be training, photo restoration and online exhibition. Zaka Babazada also introduced Mammad Rahimov, who will hold the trainings and known in Azerbaijani photography for professionalism. The project was told to be continued concerning the issue of chemical basis of photography taking into account the lack of finance. Afterwards the director of “V.S. Training Center” Psychological Training Center, Vusala Gojayeva stated they consider the training important as VS Training Center and sounded her views on psychological moments of the photo. She also noted ancient photos’ restoration is very useful thing and congratulated the project members wishing them success.
In the end the numerous questions of the training participants were responded and acquaintance around table-set followed the presentation.
