International Conference YOCOCU "Youth in Conservation of Cultural Heritage" will be co-arranged by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage, Italian Association of Conservation Scientists, ICCROM, Sapienza University of Italy and Antwerpen University of Belgium with support of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Agsu regional Executive Power in Agsu, Azerbaijan. The event attended by more than 100 young professionals specialized in the field of study and protection of cultural heritage from 25 countries of the world will be held on 28-30 May, 2014.

It is notable that, YOCOCU (YOuth in COnservation of CUltural heritage) was established in 2008. YOCOCU is international network where young professionals, students and researchers are called to increase and strengthen their consciousness to be the main actors of the present and future society and the power for the development of new knowledge. Previous editions of YOCOCU were in Rome, Palermo and Antwerpen cities. During III YOCOCU held in Antwerpen, Belgium the Azerbaijani delegation put forward the idea of arrangement of next event in Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony will start on 28th May, 2014 at 10.00a.m. at Medieval Agsu Town Archaeological Tourism Complex in Agsu and at 15:00 p.m. plenary session will start at the conference hall of Shamakhi Palace Platinum by Rixos Hotel. Senior officials of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and Italian Association of Conservation Scientists will attend at the opening ceremony.
The sessions will be continued on 28-29 May 2014 with presentations on research and protection of different fields of cultural heritage.
