Presentation ceremony of MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage was held at the office of Georgian Azerbaijanis Congress in April, 2012. Representative of MIRAS Organization on Georgia, Elnur Aliyev arranged a seminar within the scope of “My Land in the World” project.
Chairman of MIRAS Organization, PhD Fariz Khalilli speaking at the seminar shared information on the activity and publications of the MIRAS. Later on Dr. Fariz Khalilli made a report on “Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage”. During the seminar the attendees were given broad information on cultural heritage of Azerbaijan from the ancient time to present day. More than 30 students from different institutes with various specialties were registered for the seminars.
The questions of listeners were responded in the end and the MIRAS Georgian representative informed students on next seminars. This kind of seminars is planned on topics Azerbaijani’s moral heritage, Azerbaijani language and literature, Georgia-Azerbaijan relationship and Georgia’s Azerbaijanis.
