On 19 February 2015, 2nd International Scientific Practical Conference “Cultural Heritage and Innovative Technologies in Tourism” was held in Tbilisi city of Georgia by Georgia for Friends International Association, Tourism Geo-Information Centre and Golden Travel Georgia.
Main target of the conference is to strengthen public platform for the purpose of development of cultural heritage and tourism domain and encourage innovative educational methods. The researchers from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Russia made reports on topics of international exhibition project 2010-2013-years "Terrakota Ordu": practice, results and archaeological mobile exposition perspectives, archaeological tourism potential and overall researches in Ashagi Kartli region, E-tourist map for Georgia and Azerbaijan, the development of religious tourism in Georgia, the problems of formation of tourism brand in Ajar region.
Chairman of MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural heritage, Dr. Fariz Khalilli spoke about "Young view towards protection of cultural heritage for tourism purposes”. He stressed interests and proposals of youth who participated at 1st International Youth Forum of Cultural Heritage and Tourism in this field on 1-2 February 2015. Fariz Khalilli stated his displeasure of few number of tourists to Azerbaijan from neighbor and friend country Georgia and lack of sufficient potential in this field in the future to gain accomplishments.
At the end of the conference memorandum of collaboration on “Tourism Education Academic League-ALTE” was signed between MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage from Azerbaijan, and from Georgia “Georgia for Friends” Association. |
