Spectacle “Martyrs don’t need shroud” was performed by the pupils of Baku city secondary school No. 51 on 26th February, 2015 at Agsu city Cultural Palace by MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage and Ideal Zirva Tranining Centre. The spectacle is staged by producer Royal Jabiyev by the pupils of the school mentioned and deals with the hero Mubariz Ibrahimov on the motiffs of Atamoglan Mammadli’s play. The author was a soldier of war himself and encourages fighting spirit and martyrs’ immortality. The performance is divided into 2 parts. The sound producer of the spectacle is Rovshana Aliyeva.
The chairman of MIRAS Organization, Fariz Khalilli opened the event. The memory of Khojaly genocide was commemorated with one-minute silence. Fariz Khalilli gave information about “Khojaly time” and ‘26fevral.az’ Internet page for the purpose of recognition of Khojaly genocide.
The head of Agsu region Executive Power, Anvar Seyidaliyev dealt with Khojaly tragedy, hardness of the massacre, promotion activities of the genocide in the world and commemoration events in Agsu, lately. He said he appreciates highly this performance of schoolchildren of school No. 51 of Baku encouraging heroism in so high level.
The author of the play, Prof.Dr. Atamoghlan Mammadli informed about the history of the play, heroism of Mubariz Ibrahimov and called on all youth who are our future, to patriotism.
The director of secondary school No. 51, Latafat Samadova shared their impressions on Khojaly and noted importance of such events to spread Khojaly people’s voice in the world.
Elshana Sharifli, the director of Ideal Zirva Tranining Centre wished success to the youth in their future life and stated their pleasure of being around this performance.
The schoolchildren performed the spectacle from heart and resolutely. Vugar Mamishov (Mubariz Ibrahimov), Kubra Gulmammadova (Mubariz’s mother), Hajibaba Naghiyev (Mubariz’s father), Ali Gulmammadov (Farid Ahmadov), Madina Hasanova (refugee), Fuad Huseynov (old man), Nurana Muradova (journalist), Mehman Abbasov (guard), Javad Guliyev (intelligence officer),
Bahadur Gudratov (soldier), Ramiz Aghayev (soldier), Dilshad Rasulova (Ayten), Aysu Mammadova, Aysel Masimova, Konul Babayeva, Zahra Mehdiyeva (good and evil) performed their character very well. The interesting spectacle was welcomed by the participants with interest.
